About the Position

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage in a community hospital setting. This role combines inpatient rounds, outpatient clinic, and procedural work.

Shift Details:

• Schedule: 2 weeks per month, Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
• 24-hour call coverage plus 8 hours per day Monday–Friday
• Morning procedures (4.5 hours) on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; occasional Monday
• Afternoon inpatient rounds

• Support staff: Anesthesiology on site

• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Board-Certified (BC) or Board-Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology
• Pennsylvania medical license required
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temps available with clean file)
