About the Position

Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for locum tenens coverage in a busy hospital setting with exposure to urgent cases and structural heart procedures.

Shift Details:

• Clinic: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Night Call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 24-hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Coverage: 1–2 weeks per month

Work Highlights:

• Participate in urgent inpatient cases and TAVR procedures (Tuesdays)
• Round on patients in the hospital before and after clinic
• Clinic includes dual sessions with structural heart patients
• Surgeries per week: ~9
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital Bed Size: 596

Specialized Skills:

• Cardiothoracic surgery procedures, including TAVR and urgent surgical care

Requirements

• Board-Certified (BC) or Board-Eligible (BE) in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Pennsylvania medical license required
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Credentialing support provided (90 days, temps available with clean file)
