About the Position

Seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage in a high-volume hospital environment. You will provide anesthesia for cardiac surgeries and collaborate with surgeons and specialty clinicians across multiple procedural areas.

Shift Details:

• 4–5 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts
• Typical start times: 6:15 AM – 7:00 AM, end times: 4:30 PM – 4:45 PM
• Coverage: full-time with flexibility for 1 week per month
• Patient population: all ages
• EMR: Epic

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia for cardiac surgeries
• Collaborate with surgical and specialty teams across multiple procedural areas
• Ensure patient safety during perioperative care, including trauma cases
• Manage complex cases in a Level I Trauma hospital

Special Procedures:

• Cardiac anesthesia

Requirements

• Board-Certified (BC) or Board-Eligible (BE) Anesthesiologist
• Pennsylvania medical license required
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
