About the Position

Seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage providing 24-hour call shifts. This role involves managing a wide variety of adult and pediatric obstetric and gynecologic patients, performing procedures, and collaborating with an experienced unit team.

Shift Details:

• 24-hour shifts (night or day), examples include:
  • Apr 6 (7p) – Apr 12 (7p)
  • Apr 13 (7p) – Apr 16 (7a)
  • May 1 (7a) – May 3 (7p)
• Patient volume: 15–20 per day
• Unit: 94 beds, adult and pediatric acutely ill patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage vaginal and operative deliveries (forceps/vacuum)
• Perform Cesarean sections, D&C/D&E, infant circumcisions
• Conduct gynecologic surgeries including laparoscopic, robotic, and abdominal procedures
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, anesthesiologists, and unit staff
• Document care in EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Board-Certified in OB/GYN
• NY State medical license required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP required
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
