About the Position

Seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage in a busy hospital setting. This role involves procedures and on-call responsibilities, with flexible schedules including 7-day blocks and weekend coverage.

Shift Details:

• 10-hour day shifts, OR starts at 07:30
• 24-hour call, including 7-day coverage blocks (Monday 07:00 to Monday 07:00)
• 1 week per month plus weekend coverage
• Patient population: adults (18+)
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality gastroenterology care, including inpatient procedures
• Collaborate with anesthesiology and hospital staff to ensure safe patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital protocols

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Pennsylvania medical license required
• DEA license required
• Minimum 1 year of post-training experience
