About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician for a locum tenens assignment in New York providing ambulatory and OR-based interventional spine and pain care.

This role involves performing procedures such as:

• Epidural Steroid Injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
• Medial Branch Blocks and Radiofrequency Ablation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
• Nerve blocks, trigger point injections, sacroiliac joint injections
• Spinal cord stimulator trials, genicular nerve blocks, piriformis injections

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with office call only after hours and weekends. You will provide direct patient care in an ambulatory clinic and OR setting, working alongside support staff including LPNs and secretaries. EMR system used is Epic.

Requirements

• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Completion of a fellowship in pain/spine management preferred
• Active New York medical license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years post-fellowship clinical experience
• Demonstrated skills in interventional procedures listed above
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
