About the Position

An excellent locum tenens opportunity is available for a Hospitalist/Nocturnist seeking a stable and predictable night schedule in a hospital setting. This role follows a 7 on / 7 off rotation, providing an ideal balance between work and time off.

You will be part of a collaborative overnight team, working alongside two additional physicians to manage admissions and provide inpatient care for adult patients. The typical workload includes 10–12 admissions per night, with no procedures required, allowing you to focus on patient management and clinical decision-making.

The facility is a large, well-established hospital utilizing EPIC EMR for efficient workflows and documentation. This position offers a supportive environment with administrative leadership available and a streamlined care model designed for nocturnists.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• DEA certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of hospitalist experience preferred
• Comfortable managing inpatient admissions independently during night shifts
