About the Position

A dynamic locum tenens opportunity is available for an Anesthesiologist in a high-acuity hospital setting offering a broad and diverse case mix. This role provides flexible scheduling with 4–5 ten-hour shifts per week, with the option to consider shorter-term coverage blocks.

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of surgeons and specialty clinicians, delivering high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across a wide range of procedures. The facility is a Level I trauma center, offering exposure to complex and varied cases including trauma, neuro and spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, pediatrics, orthopedics, robotics, and more.

This position utilizes EPIC EMR and provides an engaging clinical environment where you can maintain and expand your expertise across multiple anesthesia techniques and specialties.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Proficiency in anesthesia techniques including GETA, MAC, regional, spinal, and ultrasound-guided procedures
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment
