About the Position

An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an experienced Plastic Surgeon to provide inpatient, on-call coverage in a high-acuity hospital setting. This role primarily consists of weekend call shifts, typically from Friday morning through Monday morning, offering a flexible schedule with 6–8 shifts per month.

You will be responsible for managing inpatient consults and surgical cases within a Level 1 trauma environment, treating a wide variety of reconstructive and acute cases. This position is ideal for surgeons who are comfortable working independently and thrive in fast-paced, high-volume settings.

The facility utilizes EPIC EMR for streamlined documentation and coordination of care. With a large hospital capacity and diverse case mix, this role offers the opportunity to maintain and expand your clinical expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• DEA certification required
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience preferred
• Comfortable managing trauma-related and reconstructive cases
• Ability to provide independent, on-call inpatient coverage
