About the Position

🏥 Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Urologist for a locums opportunity in NY. This role offers a mix of outpatient clinic work with inpatient consults, procedures, and rounding in a supportive hospital setting.

🔹 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🔹 Clinic Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
🔹 Call: Optional, 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
🔹 Coverage Need: Full-time preferred due to current staffing gaps

👨‍⚕️ Patient Population: Adults (18+)
📊 Patient Volume: ~20 patients per day
💻 EMR: Epic

🛠️ Scope of Work

• Outpatient clinic visits and patient management
• Inpatient consults, procedures, and post-operative rounding as needed
• Perform urology procedures (details based on facility needs)
• OR block availability (7:30 AM – 3:00 PM, no case limit)
• Mix of clinical care, procedures, and consultative services

👥 Support Staff:

• 1 full-time provider
• LPNs, CNAs/CMAs, and patient representative

🏥 Facility Highlights:

• Level III Trauma Center
• 4 exam rooms in clinic
• Limited robotic support

Requirements

✅ Requirements

✔️ Board Certified in Urology
✔️ Active New York Medical License
✔️ BLS Certification
✔️ Experience with Epic EMR
✔️ Clean work history with no gaps over 30 days
✔️ Malpractice disclosure required (if applicable)
