About the Position

An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an Interventional Cardiologist seeking a dynamic mix of clinic, procedures, and call coverage. This role offers flexible scheduling with weekday clinical responsibilities and weekend 24-hour call, making it ideal for physicians looking to balance consistent work with autonomy.

You will provide comprehensive interventional cardiology care, including management of acute cardiac cases such as STEMIs, in both clinic and hospital settings. The position includes treating an average of 17–18 adult patients per day while collaborating with a supportive APP team.

The facility utilizes EPIC EMR and provides a streamlined workflow environment. While there is no onsite cardiothoracic surgery, you will play a key role in delivering critical cardiac interventions and ensuring continuity of care. Weekend call includes manageable callback volumes, allowing for a balanced workload.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Must be board certified in reading nuclear cardiology studies
  • Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted)
  • DEA certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of interventional cardiology experience
  • Strong experience managing acute cardiac cases, including STEMIs
  • Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
