About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment providing inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology coverage. This role includes cath lab procedures, STEMI call, and clinical oversight of patients ranging from 18–100 years old.

Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Nightly call when covering; includes STEMI coverage
• Coverage as needed for vacation or intermittent support (approx. 40 hours/week once every other month)
• Hospital Bed Size: 270 beds
• EMR System: EPIC
• Interventional Procedures: RHC/LHC, PCI, Balloon Angioplasty, Balloon Pump, IVUS
• Patient Volume: ~18 patients/day
• Practice Setting: Hospital and clinic, academic/training environment

Support Team:

• 1 assigned clinical team for outpatient care
• 1 APP for inpatient care
• Cath lab staff for interventional procedures

✅ Qualifications

• Board-Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active PA license required
• DEA registration required
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Minimum experience: Not specified but must be proficient in interventional cardiology procedures
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temps available with clean file)
