About the Position

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens hospital assignment. This position primarily focuses on inpatient care, consults, rounding, and procedural work, with some outpatient procedures included.

Schedule & Coverage:

• 24-hour call: Friday 5:00 PM – Friday 5:00 PM
• Hospital coverage: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday–Friday for rounding, consults, and procedures
• 2–3 weeks per month
• Hospital Bed Size: 163 beds
• EMR System: EPIC
• Special Procedures: No ERCP or EUS
• Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Practice Setting: Hospital-based, primarily inpatient

✅ Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active PA license required
• DEA registration required
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Minimum experience: 1 year
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temps available with clean file)
