About the Position

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment providing hospital-based coverage with a mix of consults and operative cases. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma hospital with Hybrid OR capabilities, supporting residents and a full surgical team.

Schedule & Coverage:

• 24-hour beeper call, one week per month
• Example blocks: May 15–22, May 29–June 5, June 12–19
• Daily consults: 10–15 per week
• Surgeries: 6–10 per week
• Average callback: 6–8 hours per day

Work Details:

• Department includes residents onsite
• Hybrid OR and APS angioplasty procedures
• EMR System: EPIC
• Hospital Bed Size: 500, Level 1 Trauma center
• Patient Population: Adults requiring vascular consults and surgery

Practice Setting: Hospital

✅ Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• PA medical license required
• DEA registration required
• Minimum experience: 1 year
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary coverage available with clean file)
