About the Position

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for a 6-month locum tenens assignment with full-time clinic and surgical coverage. This role involves both outpatient clinic duties and call coverage in a Level 1 Trauma setting.

Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full-time coverage with call responsibilities (excluding select weekends)
• Approximately 28 clinic patients per day; call patients vary (~15/day)
• Exposure to outpatient clinic, operating rooms, and robotic surgery

Work Details:

• Support Staff: 4 MAs, 1 CSA, 1 RN, APP supervision required
• EMR System: EPIC
• Operating Rooms: 16 (across hospital and ambulatory surgery sites)
• Core Procedures: Vasectomy, Vasectomy Reversal (optional), Cystoscopy, Prostate Procedures, Ureteroscopy, Lithotripsy, Circumcision (rare), Orchiopexy, Penile Implants (rare)
• Scope: Robotic surgery optional based on practice
• Patient Population: Adults 18+, occasional pediatric emergencies

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• PA medical license preferred for faster start
• DEA registration required
• Minimum experience: 1 year
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary coverage available with clean file)
