About the Position

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment providing procedural and call coverage in a hospital-based practice. This opportunity offers exposure to adult patients and a mix of procedures, clinic, and 24-hour call coverage.

Schedule & Coverage:

• 5 days/week, 10-hour days (OR start at 7:30 AM)
• 7-day coverage blocks: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
• 24-hour call as needed
• Coverage required: 1 week per month and additional weekends

Work Details:

• Support staff: Onsite Anesthesiology
• Patient population: Adults 18+
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 593 beds
• Special Procedures: No ERCP or EUS

Practice Setting: Hospital

✅ Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• PA medical license required
• DEA registration required
• Minimum experience: 1 year
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary coverage available with clean file)
