About the Position

A Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist is needed for a locum tenens assignment providing clinic, procedure, and limited call coverage. This role involves a combination of weekdays and one weekend per month, with patient care in both hospital and clinic settings.

Schedule & Coverage:

• Weekdays: 7:30 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage: 24-hour call (limited rounding)
• Patient load: 17-18 adults per day
• Coverage needed per month: 1 week + 1 weekend

Work Details:

• Support staff: APP available
• Hospital beds: 150
• EMR: Epic
• Department procedures: nuclear reads, stress tests, TEE, cardioversions, echo monitors
• Additional skills preferred: CT reads
• Practice Setting:
• Clinic & Hospital

✅ Qualifications

• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology
• PA medical license required (IMLC acceptable)
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
