About the Position

A Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist is needed for a locum tenens assignment providing both inpatient and procedural coverage. This role involves 2 weeks per month with a combination of morning procedures, office time, and weekend rounds.

Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (2 weeks per month)
• Scheduled procedures 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM on Wed, Thu, Fri (occasional Mon)
• Office/clinic time 4 hours per day as needed
• Inpatient rounds in the afternoon
• 24-hour call coverage included

Work Details:

• Support staff available (Anesthesiology on site)
• Hospital beds: 132
• EMR: Epic
• Patient population: Adults (18+)
• Special procedures: No EUS or ERCP required

✅ Qualifications

• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology
• Active PA medical license required
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
