About the Position

A Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon is needed for a locum tenens hospital-based assignment providing clinic, procedural, and call coverage. This role is ideal for surgeons seeking a dynamic mix of clinical, procedural, and inpatient care.

Schedule & Coverage:

• Clinic: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (dual clinic for structural heart cases on Fridays)
• Night call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 24-hour call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Coverage: 1–2 weeks per month
• Surgeries per week: 9
• Hospital beds: 596
• EMR: Epic

Work Details:

• Support staff includes an on-site APP
• Responsibilities include urgent case coverage, TAVR procedures, inpatient rounds, and clinic visits
• Patient population: adults requiring cardiothoracic surgical care

✅ Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Active physician license required
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
