About the Position

Seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a locum tenens opportunity specializing in Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology. This role involves supporting a busy clinical team in both hospital and outpatient settings, managing post-procedure care, and assisting with complex cardiac patient needs.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible)
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Manage approximately 18 patients daily ranging from 18 to 100 years old
• Assist with Interventional Cardiology procedures including right/left heart catheterization (R/LHC), PCI, balloon angioplasty, and balloon pump care
• Support Electrophysiology services such as pacemaker implants, ICD implants (traditional and subcutaneous), loop recorder implants/explants, and cardiac ablations (AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER)
• Conduct thorough post-operative evaluations and ongoing patient management
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and the assigned clinical team
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and patient care coordination

✅ Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
• Board Certification (preferably in Family Medicine or related specialty)
• DEA certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, or Electrophysiology preferred
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
