About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Cardiology with a focus on Electrophysiology and Interventional care. This is a full-time assignment with a highly desirable 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday) and flexible scheduling.

The provider will work in a collaborative clinical environment, supporting cardiology services across both clinic and hospital settings. While APPs will not perform invasive procedures, they will play a key role in pre- and post-procedure patient management and ongoing cardiac care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing approximately 18 patients per day
• Providing care for patients across electrophysiology and interventional cardiology services
• Conducting patient evaluations, follow-ups, and treatment planning
• Supporting care for procedures such as pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, and cardiac catheterization interventions
• Monitoring patients pre- and post-procedure and coordinating care plans
• Collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Documenting all care using EPIC EMR

This role offers a balanced mix of clinic and hospital-based care, with exposure to advanced cardiac procedures and technologies.

✅ Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Physician Assistant License (required)
• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• DEA certification (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, or Electrophysiology
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
