About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a locum tenens vascular surgery assignment in a hospital-based setting. This is a full-time opportunity offering a consistent weekly schedule with flexibility between 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts.

The provider will play a key role in managing vascular surgery patients, focusing on inpatient care and collaborating closely with physicians, residents, and nursing staff. The role includes a combination of rounding, consults, and potential Operating Room assistance depending on experience and skill set.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing approximately 20 inpatients per day
• Conducting daily rounds and patient assessments
• Performing and responding to vascular surgery consults
• Assisting in the Operating Room (if qualified)
• Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams
• Documenting all patient care using EPIC EMR

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain or expand experience in vascular surgery within a high-volume hospital environment.

✅ Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner License (required)
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (or PA certification accepted)
• DEA certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Experience or interest in vascular surgery or surgical care
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
