About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity providing 24-hour call coverage in a well-supported hospital setting. This role offers flexible scheduling with the ability to work consecutive call blocks or individual shifts based on availability.

The physician will provide full-scope obstetrics and gynecology care, managing both routine and complex cases. Responsibilities include labor and delivery coverage, surgical procedures, and inpatient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing 15–20 patients per day across obstetric and gynecologic services
• Providing labor and delivery coverage, including spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries
• Performing cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries (laparoscopic, robotic, and open)
• Conducting procedures such as D&C/D&E and circumcisions
• Delivering comprehensive inpatient care and responding to emergent situations
• Collaborating with nursing staff, anesthesia, and support teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Documenting all care using EPIC EMR

This role includes 24-hour call shifts (7a–7a or 7p–7p) with multiple coverage blocks available, making it ideal for providers seeking flexible, high-impact assignments.

✅ Qualifications

• Active New York Medical License (required)
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Minimum 2 years of recent OB/GYN experience
• Current certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills
• Clean and consistent work history with no unexplained gaps
