About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule with flexible call options. This role is ideal for a physician looking to provide comprehensive urologic care in a well-supported clinical setting.Premium Urology Locum Tenens Opportunity | Clinic + OR ExposureThe position primarily focuses on outpatient care, with additional responsibilities that include inpatient consults, procedures, and post-operative rounding as needed. Providers will manage a balanced mix of clinical duties, including patient evaluations, procedural care, and coordination of treatment plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing approximately 20 patients per day in an outpatient setting
  • Performing urologic procedures and participating in OR cases as needed
  • Providing inpatient consults and post-operative rounding
  • Participating in call coverage (24-hour shifts available based on provider preference)
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

This opportunity offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with clinic hours during the day and optional call responsibilities that can be tailored to your availability. Full-time coverage is highly preferred due to current staffing needs.

✅ Qualifications

  • Active New York Medical License (required)
  • Board Certified in Urology
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Strong clinical and procedural skills in urology
  • Ability to manage both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
  • Clean, up-to-date work history with no unexplained gaps
