About the Position

A locum tenens opportunity is available in York, PA for an Anesthesiology Physician in a high-acuity Level I trauma hospital setting. This role involves providing anesthesia across a wide range of specialties, including trauma, neuro, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, and orthopedic cases, as well as NORA locations, ensuring exposure to a diverse and complex surgical population.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team within a large hospital environment, utilizing advanced techniques such as general anesthesia, MAC, regional, spinal, and ultrasound-guided procedures. The position offers consistent full-time coverage with rotating assignments and use of EPIC EMR.

Shift Timings:

• Variable shifts: 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM / 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM / 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
• 4–5 shifts per week (10-hour shifts)
• Full-time coverage with occasional 1-week-per-month availability

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License
• ACLS and PALS Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Proficiency in general anesthesia, regional, spinal, and ultrasound techniques
