About the Position
A well-established healthcare organization in Stillwater, New York is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician to join a supportive and collaborative outpatient practice. This opportunity offers strong clinical support, flexible scheduling, and the ability to build long-term relationships with patients in a community-focused setting.
The physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Responsibilities include managing chronic conditions, treating acute illnesses and injuries, and performing preventive care such as routine exams, screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
You will work closely with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and benefit from a well-supported infrastructure with physician-led governance. The position includes a light shared call rotation supported by RN triage, allowing for a balanced workload.
Additional opportunities are available for teaching medical students and precepting NP/PA students, as well as participating in hospital medicine or leadership/administrative roles for those interested. Qualifications
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine
(or dual Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics) - Active New York medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of 1 year of primary care experience required
- Clean malpractice and licensing history required
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, long-term care
- Willingness to work in a full-time outpatient setting with shared call
- Not accepting locum or visa candidates
- Not open to candidates with lapsed board certification
