About the Position

A locum tenens opportunity is available in Gettysburg, PA for an Anesthesiology Physician to provide care in a hospital-based surgical setting. The role includes delivering anesthesia for a variety of procedures, including orthopedic cases requiring regional blocks, while collaborating with CRNAs and anesthesia technicians in a supportive environment.

You will work in a facility with multiple operating rooms, labor & delivery, and a cath lab, providing care primarily to adult patients. The position includes a mix of scheduled shifts and shared call responsibilities, utilizing EPIC EMR for efficient workflow.

Shift Timings:

• Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Flexible schedule: 5x8s or combination of 8-hour shifts and 24-hour call
• Full-time: 40 hours per week with call rotation

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License
• DEA Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Proficiency in regional blocks for orthopedic cases
