About the Position

A comprehensive locum tenens opportunity is available in Chambersburg, PA for a Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide care in a clinic-based setting with inpatient consult support across multiple hospitals. The role includes managing adult oncology and hematology patients, coordinating treatment plans, and overseeing infusion therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV treatments.

You will work within a collaborative cancer program with NP support, virtual hematology consultation, and participation in tumor boards, while utilizing EPIC and Nuance systems. Responsibilities include clinic visits, occasional inpatient consults, and call coverage, with exposure to a broad range of cancer cases including lung, breast, prostate, and colorectal.

Shift Timings:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Full-time preferred (minimum 3 days/week considered)
• Call: 1 week per month (includes nights & weekends)
• Light call volume (0–2 calls per day)

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology (Dual preferred)
• Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (preferred)
• DEA Certification required
