About the Position

A hospital-based locum tenens opportunity is available in York, PA for a Urology Physician to provide 24-hour call coverage in a Level 1 trauma center. The role focuses on acute urologic care, emergency consults, and surgical interventions, supporting adult patients in a high-acuity inpatient setting.

You will work alongside APPs and a collaborative care team, with access to advanced operating rooms and robotic surgical capabilities. Responsibilities include managing a range of urologic conditions and performing procedures such as cystoscopy, lithotripsy, prostate procedures, and ureteroscopy, with EPIC EMR supporting workflow.

Shift Timings:

• 24-hour call coverage (Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM)
• Full-time coverage preferred
• Average callback: 4–8 hours per day

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Urology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (preferred)
• DEA Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
