About the Position

Looking for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery APP ready to take on a rewarding weekend locum role!

📍 Location: Pennsylvania
📅 Start: May 2026 | Ongoing

🗓 Schedule:
• 3 weekends per month
• Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM
• 24-hour call coverage

🏥 Practice Details:
• Hospital-based setting
• EMR: Epic
• Adult patient population (18+)
• Work closely with surgical team & APP support
• Surgeon available for backup after consult

⚙️ Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in urgent cardiothoracic surgical cases
• Vein harvesting
• Manage patients from cath lab to OR
• Post-op care from ICU to discharge
• Average callback: ~4 hrs/day (including rounding)

✅ Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
• Active PA license (or willing to obtain)
• DEA required
• Acute care certification not required
