About the Position

We’re partnering with a community hospital in eastern North Carolina seeking a BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist for day shift locums coverage.

Highlights:

• 12-hour day shifts (7a–7p)
• Inpatient only
• No call required
• Low-volume ED
• EPIC EMR
• Average 16–18 patients/day
• Light admissions (≈2 per day)
• Well-structured unit mix:
  • Medical Unit
  • Surgical Unit
  • ICU (vent management required)

Additional Details:

• Providers run codes
• No requirement to back up the ER
• Orientation provided prior to first shift
