About the Position
A leading healthcare organization in West Michigan is seeking a skilled and compassionate Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to join a regional team serving Grand Rapids and surrounding areas, with occasional coverage in nearby communities. This is an excellent opportunity to provide advanced, specialized care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
The physician will focus on managing high-risk pregnancies and complex fetal conditions while working closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists. This role also serves as a key referral resource, helping to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
Providers will primarily practice in Grand Rapids with some travel as needed. The position includes shared call responsibilities, which are mostly phone-based with occasional in-person hospital support. Robust clinical support is provided, including dedicated medical assistants, sonographers, and additional staff.
The role also offers opportunities to engage in teaching and mentorship of medical students and residents, contributing to the growth of future clinicians. Both experienced physicians and truly board-eligible recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine

If Board Eligible, must obtain certification within 2 years

- Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required
- Not open to candidates with lapsed board certification
- Not accepting locum candidates
- Open to H1B visa candidates (J1 waivers not accepted)
