About the Position

A Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician is needed for an ongoing locum assignment in Pennsylvania, offering a consistent weekday schedule with no required call in a supportive clinical setting.

📍 Position Overview

• Start Date: May 10, 2026
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call: Not required (optional)
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic

🏥 Practice Details

• Average ~25 patients per day
• Focus on consultative care and ultrasound interpretation
• Collaborative team including:
 • 2 RNs
 • 2 Medical Assistants
 • 2 APPs
• Epic EMR system

🔎 Clinical Scope

• Management of high-risk pregnancies, including:
 • Hypertension & HELLP syndrome
 • Diabetes (Type I, II, and gestational)
 • Cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and neurological disorders
 • Autoimmune and hematologic conditions
 • Placenta previa/abruption
 • Multiple gestations

• Procedures & skills include:
 • Ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level II)
 • Fetal echocardiography
 • Amniocentesis (genetic)
 • Vaginal deliveries

✔ Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Active Pennsylvania medical license /IMLC
• DEA and BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience
• Strong ultrasound diagnostic skills preferred
• Epic experience preferred
