About the Position

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join a highly respected and comprehensive neuroscience program in Michigan. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a well-established, multidisciplinary team delivering advanced care for complex neurological and visual disorders.

This program offers state-of-the-art technology and a patient-centered approach, focusing on diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the visual pathways and eye movement control. As part of a collaborative neuroscience team, you will help deliver personalized treatment plans while working alongside highly experienced specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive neuro-ophthalmologic evaluation and treatment

  • Diagnose and manage visual disorders related to neurological conditions

  • Conduct specialized testing including visual fields, ocular alignment, and optical coherence tomography

  • Evaluate and treat unexplained or sudden vision loss

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including neurology, rehabilitation, and support services

  • Provide patient and family education on conditions and treatment plans

  • Participate in general neurology visits as the practice grows

Qualification:

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neuro-Ophthalmology (must obtain certification within required timeframe)

  • Valid state medical license (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

  • DEA and BLS certification required (or willing to obtain)

  • Clean malpractice history required

  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing neuro-ophthalmologic conditions

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Open to new graduates (must meet board certification timeline)

  • Not accepting candidates with lapsed board certification

  • H1B visa candidates accepted (J1 not accepted)
