About the Position

A hospital in York, PA is seeking a Locum Hospitalist to provide overnight inpatient care in a large, well-supported acute care setting. The physician will be responsible for managing admissions, evaluating adult patients, and coordinating treatment plans alongside a collaborative nocturnal team.

This role involves handling 10–12 admissions per night, working with multidisciplinary support staff, and utilizing EPIC EMR. The position focuses on inpatient clinical care with no procedural requirements, making it ideal for physicians who prefer a purely admissions-based hospitalist role in a high-volume environment.

Shift Timings:

• Night shifts: 6 PM – 6 AM
• Occasional shifts: 8 PM – 8 AM
• 12-hour shifts
• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• ~14–15 shifts per month

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• DEA Registration (Required)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience
