About the Position

A busy inpatient OB/GYN practice in Davenport is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide comprehensive hospital support in a collaborative, high-volume environment. This role works closely with midwives, anesthesia, NICU teams, and community health partners to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient OB/GYN coverage, including labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls
  • Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly in a high-volume setting
  • Participate in daily rounding for post-operative and post-partum patients
  • Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients
  • Collaborate with midwives, FQHC partners, and multidisciplinary hospital teams
  • Support hospital protocols and the launch of 24-hour in-house coverage (April 2025)
  • Full-time dedicated hospitalist role; no separate “doc call” expected
  • Work in a supportive, inclusive environment with emphasis on patient safety and community health

Qualification

  • Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required
  • Iowa medical license (or eligibility/willingness to obtain) – Required
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
  • Clean malpractice history preferred
  • H1B/J1 support available for qualifying candidates
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
  • Provider must be US Board Certified or Board Eligible
