About the Position

A busy, growing healthcare practice in Clinton is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to join a full-time, collaborative team. This role provides a mix of clinic, OR, and obstetric care, with opportunities to contribute to a growing service line. Providers who can start ASAP are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a Family Medicine/OB group
  • Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with shared call coverage (weekend/on-call ratio 1:4)
  • Provide inpatient, outpatient, rounds, clinic, and travel to multiple locations/clinics as needed
  • Manage patient care in a Level 4 trauma facility
  • Utilize EMR systems: Cerner (Inpatient) and eClinicalWorks (Outpatient)
  • Support growth and development of OB/GYN services
  • Patient volume varies by provider

Qualification

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 3 years of eligibility) – Required
  • Iowa medical license or eligibility/willingness to obtain – Required
  • NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification (or willing to obtain prior to start) – Required
  • Clean malpractice history preferred (cannot accept malpractice cases in Probate or requiring supervision)
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
  • Providers who can start ASAP – Highly Preferred
  • Not accepting visa candidates
