About the Position

A well-established healthcare system in Clinton is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, permanent opportunity. This role offers a dynamic clinical environment with a wide variety of anesthesia cases across all age groups, including both adult and pediatric patients.

The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesiology services, including pre-operative evaluations, intraoperative care, and post-anesthesia monitoring. This position involves both independent practice and collaboration with the broader anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Clinical Scope Includes:

• General, pediatric, thoracic, and obstetrical anesthesia
• IV sedation and regional anesthesia techniques
• Regional blocks and conductive anesthesia
• Pre-anesthesia assessments and post-operative care
• Emergency response and code support as needed

Qualification

• Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) (Required)
• Active Iowa License or willingness to obtain (Required)
• Experience with both adult and pediatric anesthesia cases (Required)
• 5+ years of CRNA experience (Preferred, but open to strong recent graduates)
• BLS Certification (Required or within 3 months of hire)
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certifications (Required within 1 year of hire)
• Clean malpractice history (Preferred)
• Current NPDB Self-Query report (Required)
• Must be seeking a permanent position (no locums; no visa sponsorship)
