About the Position

We are seeking an experienced General Surgeon for a hospital-based locum role in Lebanon, PA, primarily covering in-house call responsibilities. This position involves managing a wide range of general surgery cases, responding to urgent surgical needs, and providing comprehensive surgical care in a hospital setting.

The role is focused on 24-hour call coverage with no outpatient clinic duties, requiring strong expertise in acute surgical management and decision-making. Ideal candidates should be comfortable handling varied patient populations and maintaining high clinical standards in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Timings:
• 24-hour in-house call shifts
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Coverage: Up to 1 week at a time (typically weekends)
• ~0.5 FTE coverage per month

Requirements

• Board Certified in General Surgery – REQUIRED
• Active Pennsylvania License – REQUIRED
• DEA Certification – REQUIRED
• Wide range of general surgery skills – REQUIRED
• Robotic surgery experience preferred (not mandatory)
