About the Position
A busy hospital in Muskegon is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for full-time locum tenens coverage starting ASAP. This is a weekday-focused opportunity with consistent hours and minimal weekend requirements, ideal for providers seeking work-life balance while maintaining a high level of clinical engagement.
CRNAs will work within a medical direction care team model, supporting a high-volume surgical environment with a wide range of cases across multiple specialties. The facility handles approximately 80–100 surgical cases daily, offering exposure to both routine and complex procedures.
Key Highlights:
- Full-time, ongoing assignment
- Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Minimal to no weekend coverage required
- Hospital-based setting with 20 operating rooms
- 3 procedure rooms and 6 endoscopy suites
- EMR system: Epic
- Collaborative care team model
Case Mix Includes:
- Orthopedic, GI, vascular, GYN, and neuro procedures
- Trauma and acute cases
- ENT and robotic surgeries
- Pediatric cases (must be comfortable with healthy peds)
- Broad mix of general and complex anesthesia cases
Qualification
- Board Certified CRNA (Required)
- Active Michigan License or Compact License (Required)
- Must be available for full-time coverage (minimum 3 weeks per month)
- Comfortable managing pediatric cases (Required)
- Clean malpractice and background history (Required)
- Current NPDB Self-Query report (Required)
