About the Position

A well-established hospital in Silvis is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity providing 24-hour in-house coverage on the labor and delivery floor. This role offers a balanced schedule with 6–8 shifts per month, making it ideal for physicians seeking flexibility while maintaining consistent work.

The physician will be responsible for managing obstetric patients, performing deliveries, handling emergency gynecologic cases, and providing inpatient consultations. The setting is hospital-based, with a steady patient flow including 10–15 OB triages daily in addition to deliveries.

Key Highlights:

• 24-hour in-house coverage (on-site required)

• Procedures include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and circumcisions
• All OB triages handled by the on-call physician
• EMR system: Cerner
• No telehealth responsibilities

Qualification

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
• Active Illinois License or IMLC Letter of Qualification (Required)
• Recent, hands-on clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology (Required)
• Clean malpractice and background history (Required)
• NPDB Self-Query report (must be recent at time of submission)
