About the Position

A well-supported community hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physicians and APPs for upcoming locums coverage.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a recently renovated emergency department with strong support, steady volume, and modern workflows.

Coverage Needs
APP shifts available
Early April, mid-May, and late May dates

Physician shifts available
Early and mid-May dates

Position Highlights
• 12-hour shifts with both day and evening coverage
• Modern, recently renovated emergency department
• Fast track unit in place for lower acuity patients
• Approximately 80 patients per day
• Collaborative environment with APP support
• EMR is Epic

Requirements
• ABEM certified physicians preferred
• Will consider IM or FM physicians with recent emergency medicine experience
• APPs must have strong ED experience
• Active certifications required ACLS ATLS PALS for IM or FM trained physicians
• Recent ED inpatient experience required

Additional Details
• Orientation required prior to first shift
• Consistent monthly shift availability for ongoing coverage
• Community hospital setting with strong clinical support
