Schedule: Part time. Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Preference: Local and commutable candidates preferred.

Position Overview

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans, including review of medical history, physical examination, and functional impact assessment.
• Review and analyze medical records and other relevant documentation.
• Complete required documentation in the electronic system and submit within 24 to 48 hours after the exam is completed.
• Comfortable performing sensitive exams for male and female Veterans, including PAPs and pelvic exams.
• Work in case management system, submitting examination findings and corresponding with the Quality Assurance Team.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner.
• NPI required.
• Strong computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel) and comfort using web based exam forms and EMR documentation.
• Strong time management skills.
