Requirements Qualified certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine via the American Board of Emergency Medicine ABEM or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine AOBEMOr be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with THREE years of Emergency Medicine experience.Possess ACLS and PALSAnnual patient visits: projected 19000 per year 52 per dayFully integrated with HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital12 private patient care bedsDedicated trauma roomDedicated pediatric treatment roomPatients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus or other HCA facility with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists hospitalists and specialists.Site Directors will phone interview potential locum providers and answer any questions at that time Locum need is for equivalent of 2 FTE's Locum providers must be flexible to work days nights and weekends Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
