About the Position

A healthcare facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience for a locum assignment starting as soon as possible through July 2026.

This role offers a mix of clinic and inpatient responsibilities while working alongside an established cardiothoracic surgery team.

📍 Position Overview

• Start: As soon as credentialed
• Assignment Length: Through July 2026
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Setting: Clinic + Hospital

🏥 Practice Details

• Rounding on cardiothoracic surgery inpatients
• Seeing 10–14 clinic patients per day
• Collaborative team environment including:
 • 2 Cardiothoracic Surgeons
 • APP support
 • RN and LPN clinic staff

🔎 Responsibilities

• Post-operative and inpatient cardiothoracic care
• Clinic follow-ups and patient evaluations
• Coordinating care with cardiothoracic surgery team
• Supporting surgical patient management and recovery

✔ Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
• Comfortable managing both clinic and inpatient CT surgery patients
