About the Position

A Radiation Oncology Physician is needed for short-term locum coverage in New York during the week of May 18, 2026. This opportunity offers a 3-day schedule with no call requirements in a collaborative outpatient oncology setting.

📅 Schedule

• Coverage Needed: Week of May 18, 2026
• Preferred Days: Tuesday – Thursday (flexible)
• Shift Options:
 • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
 • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call: None

🏥 Practice Setting

• Outpatient oncology clinic
• Adult patient population
• Average 10–15 patients per day
• Collaborative care team including NP and LPN support
• Epic EMR system

🔎 Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage oncology patients receiving radiation therapy
• Develop individualized radiation treatment plans
• Monitor treatment progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Manage treatment-related side effects
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology care team

✔ Requirements

• Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Active New York medical license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred
