About the Position

• Required: Board Certified, Active Illinois License or IMLC, ACLS
• Schedule: 
  • 20+ shifts a month
  • Consecutive shifts preferred
  • M-F no weekends
  • Open to multiple locum providers to help meet coverage needs

• The Interventional Radiologist will perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. The department manages a diverse procedural mix including biopsies, drainage procedures, vascular access, GI, GU, and oncology-related interventions.
• Common Procedures May Include:
  • CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow)
  • Drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges)
  • Biliary procedures
  • GI and GU procedures
  • Vascular procedures and access
  • Hemodialysis access procedures
  • Oncology-related interventional procedures
