A high-demand Locum CRNA opportunity is available in Charleston, South Carolina within a major academic medical center known for its advanced surgical programs and collaborative anesthesia care teams. This assignment offers CRNAs the opportunity to work across multiple hospital locations while managing a wide range of anesthesia cases in a dynamic clinical environment.
This role is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking flexible scheduling, consistent case exposure, and a supportive anesthesia care team model. Providers will work alongside anesthesiologists and surgical teams delivering high-quality perioperative care while supporting a busy hospital system serving a large patient population.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide anesthesia services within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model
• Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and anesthesia planning
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Provide post-operative patient evaluation and monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records
• Work across multiple clinical locations as needed based on scheduling needs
Qualifications
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Minimum 3+ years of anesthesia experience required
• Active South Carolina license or license in process
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced academic medical center environment
Working Hours
Flexible Schedule
13.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Weekend shifts may be required depending on scheduling needs.
