A high-demand Locum CRNA opportunity is available in Charleston, South Carolina within a major academic medical center known for delivering advanced surgical and perioperative care. This role offers the chance to join an established anesthesia care team supporting a wide variety of surgical cases across multiple hospital locations.
This position is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking a high-paying assignment with flexible scheduling and exposure to complex hospital cases in a collaborative clinical environment. Providers will work within a structured anesthesia care team while supporting high-quality patient care across multiple surgical departments.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide anesthesia services as part of a collaborative anesthesia care team model
• Manage anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures in a Level 1 trauma center
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative patient monitoring
• Maintain safe anesthesia administration and patient documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams
• Ensure adherence to anesthesia safety protocols and hospital standards
Qualifications
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Minimum 3 years of anesthesia experience required
• Active South Carolina license or in active process
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to work across multiple clinical locations within the system
Working Hours
Flexible Schedule
13.5-hour shifts including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Weekend coverage may be required depending on scheduling needs.
