About the Position

Description

A regional healthcare system in Lima, Ohio is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care. The physician will diagnose and treat heart disease using advanced non-invasive diagnostic technologies while working alongside a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

This position offers the opportunity to provide both inpatient consultative services and outpatient cardiology care within a well-established heart program serving a multi-county population.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular evaluation and treatment

• Perform and interpret EKG, stress testing, echocardiography, and Holter monitoring

• Manage heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and coronary disease

• Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient cardiology visits

• Collaborate with cardiology and cardiothoracic surgical teams

• Develop individualized patient treatment plans

• Educate patients on heart health and preventive care

• Maintain documentation within EMR systems

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology

• Eligible for Ohio medical licensure

• DEA certification if applicable

• Strong clinical decision-making and patient care skills

Working Hours

Full-time schedule including inpatient consults and outpatient clinic.
